This morning I suspect it was the brightness of the moon that encouraged more of my flowers to bloom.

I completely agree with you about the name "scabiosa"; it sounds quite unpleasant. Your garden is wonderful, I wish mine was blooming, still too cold. I like the expression "Chamber of Commerce" weather! Have a wonderfully, Springy weekend!
the moon was almost a 'harvest moon' when it first rose. big and orange.
Spring in Texas is wonderful, except for the tornados. Your flowers are lovely.
Happy Easter! Beautiful roses. Pincushion flower is a prettier name, but I always use the name Scabiosa because that's how I learned it. No matter how ugly the name, the plant is a real winner!
Look at how pretty your garden is!! And wasn't the moon amazing the other night?! Your iris is pretty...I need to go dig up a couple of the bulbs from the house and transplant them to the camp -- I have missed my iris this spring! Happy Easter! :)
