Spring Cleaning

Funny that we put so much effort into spring cleaning.  Sure with the added light I can see the dust much easier but in spring I am outside so much more than I am in winter.  Maybe we should have late autumn cleaning instead.  That would work for me.  I could put this off until November - - -December if I keep the blinds closed...

Perhaps we learned spring cleaning from God and nature, since the world outside is made beautiful every spring we work to make the world inside beautiful.

Maybe Spring Cleaning is a way of giving thanks for the beauty outdoors.

o mercy sakes....i love the out of doors and want to spend more time smelling the roses. The Spring cleaning means a lot to me and I seem to want to get my cleaning done before I feel comfortable smelling the roses. Gotta stop that...it's alright to smell the roses first! grins.

Have a pleasant Spring!

YUP... I'm in the middle of spring cleaning...it's still very cool here...so it needs to get done before the warmth comes!!! BUT on that note... I do a heavy duty fall clean...after the windows are shut and the shoes and socks are on:)

Spring cleaning is a necessary "evil", I suppose. Sometimes I love to do it, I like the freshness. Othertimes, I think, ugh, maybe in the summer, lol!

I believe you have something here!!! I agree with all that you've said, and with humor about the light & dust :)

I am always shocked when the sun moves a bit and shines light into some nooks that I've not noticed all winter! For gardeners, though, spring cleaning means mulching the beds!

It certainly is a reminder to re evaluate all aspects of our lives. We do need to be reminded to reprioritize and get rid of accumulated baggage...don't we? A lot of falling leaves in our lives accumulate and block the view!
