Down Time

I've done something to my knee.  I noticed a twinge last Monday but couldn't stop as I was in full clean up mode getting ready for the carpet cleaners (the carpet does look nice).  I tried to get better on my own, no luck.  I have a doctor's appointment this morning - I assume if I had been bleeding I could have gotten in sooner but I guess they were giving me a few days to see if I really was hurt.

Roses from my husband - he's a keeper.

I usually have these blinds open but I'm pouting today because I can't get out and play (work) in my garden.

I should have been more sympathetic to Catnip at Diary of a Suburban Gardener - it's one thing to tell someone to get better and quite another to realize I am just not up to the job and must rest and recuperate.

The world will look better and I will have more to say after I heal.  Take care of yourself - trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

Well that just stinks, Joy. I know all too well that down time can be tough ... especially when it prevents you from being where you'd most like to be! Hope they're able to give you positive news at the doctor's visit. Hugs! :)

Well we're in the same boat...about 3 weeks ago...I thought I had twisted my knee...after about 2 weeks I thought I was okay...went for a run and I have been in pain and can hardly walk...it is getting better...as everyone says to me ...take care of it:)))

Joy, you do have my sincere sympathy, Knee pain is horrible! Both of my knees need transplants and I have refused to have the surgery. So I understand why you are feeling down. I do hope that all goes well and you will be feeling like yourself again very soon. Wishing you only good days ahead.

So sorry to hear about your knee. Be careful! Hopefully nothing too serious. Your roses are very pretty.

Oh dear - I'm hoping so much you will post again and say you have received treatment and are getting better!

The aches and pains seem prevalent these days, especially after gardening! I try to work for a sensible time span and then stop - not as I used, hours and hours would go by and then I'd realize I'd been gardening the entire day and couldn't stand up straight the next morning!

Be well soon dear.
Hugs - Mary
