Cloudy with a Chance of Falling Ice

No time to play today.

For my friends in Dallas, WOW!  That was an amazing hail storm.  Hope all is well and that you all have 'really good' insurance.  If you care to see how we do hail storms in DFW check out this report on local News.

Here in Fort Worth... my freezer quit.  I was fortunate to discover the problem before we lost everything in the deep freeze - also, we have wonderful friends in the neighborhood who are letting us store our frozen goods at their house.

Now I have to get out in the garage and clean up the mess and soon (very soon) I'll be out shopping.

On the bright side - when we move the old freezer (before we put in the new one) I will get to paint that area of the garage.

Hope you are having a wonderful week - summer in all its glory and heat is upon us - Enjoy!

so glad you caught the freezer before stuff thawed out. That happen to me when we were living in Navy housing in California. A friend came over and helped me cook 9 pounds of chicken thighs and breast.
Have "fun" painting.

we were just far enough SE to skip the hail AND any rain at all. nada. nothing. just some yellow-green tint in the air.

Lucky you have friends with freezer space. Rain here, and when it isn't raining it is cold and cloudy. Thanks for visiting. I love your background and header, I am guessing they are new.

glad you caught the food before the thaw hit.

This reminded me of the time that I had gone to the store with 2 little girls in-tow, one just a few months old. I bought several weeks work of meat to put in freezer when I got home. Pulling into my garage, the baby was crying, very tired and hungry. So I took the meat out of the car and set aside of the freezer, hurried in to take care of baby and put her to sleep.
...I got side tracked. Several days later the garage had a funny smell. A bad signal that the SEVERAL dollars worth of raw meat had spoiled. I hurried and double bagged it up. And, as my friend if I could put it in HER trash. I didn't want my husband to kill me for wasting all that money =(

k...sorry TMI

I hope you are doing well. LUV the red cowboy boots. =D
